A teaser for JTBC’s new music entertainment show “Hot Singers” (translated) has been released ahead of the show’s first episode which is scheduled to air on March 14.
The teaser clip shows behind-the-scenes footage from the show’s photo shoot for the poster.
The show will center on the actors’ journey to sing songs together and tell their life stories.
“Hot Singers” features famous Korean senior actors whose acting careers date back some 500 years, according to the JTBC network.
Actors include Na Moon-hee, 80, whose works include “Navillera” (2021) and “Dear My Friends” (2016), Yoon Yoo-sun, 53, from “Yumi’s Cells” (2021) and “Rain or Shine” (2018) and Lee Seo-hwan, 48, who appeared as actor Lee Jung-jae’s friend in “Squid Game” (2021).
TV personality Jeon Hyun-moo will host the show.
Episodes will air every Monday at 9 p.m.
JTBC has produced several successful music entertainment shows in the past, including “Hidden Singer” (2012-2020), “Two Yoo Project Sugar Man” (2015-2016), “Phantom Singer” (2016-2017) and “Sing Again” (2020-present)
