The Ranganation. Romesh Ranganathan
Romesh Ranganathan is piloting a new comedy entertainment TV show.
Much like The Ranganation, the BBC Two format he hosts and which has just completed its fifth series, the new program will also feature his mother, Shanthi Ranganathan.
Speaking of the Romesh Ranganathan Show pilot, the producers say, “We’ll have a celebrity guest list, hilarious games, and amazing musical performances. Romesh is also accompanied by his outspoken mother Shanthi to keep him in check! You won’t want to miss it…”
The driver must be registered at the Tabernacle venue in Notting Hill on Tuesday 6th December (free tickets).
It is currently unknown which string the format is intended for. Further details are expected to be revealed in due course.
Romesh remains one of the busiest comedians on TV. In addition to his regular presenting work and guest appearances, a Rob And Romesh Vs football special airs tonight and his new stand-up special Romesh Ranganathan: The Cynic is coming to Netflix at the end of the month.
