
NEW YORK, June 27, 2018 / PRNewswire / – PeopleTV, the ad-supported streaming network of PEOPLE and Weekly entertainment, began its first TV broadcast last weekend with a flagship entertainment show “PEOPLE now“Airs across the country on 17 Meredith-owned television stations in 12 markets reaching over 11 percent of US television households. The markets include Atlanta, Phoenix, Saint Louis, Portland, and Nashville. The new 30-minute “PEOPLE Now” weekend edition features original episodes featuring the biggest stories and studio interviews from each week.

Hosted by Jeremy parsons and Andrea Boehlke, “PEOPLE Now” premiered as a weekday morning streaming show on September 3, 2014. Today it features exclusive celebrity interviews; the latest updates on the biggest entertainment, celebrity and human interest news stories; a weekly segment on the British royal family with correspondent Imogen Lloyd Webber and more. “PEOPLE Now” recently moved to 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. (Pacific time), broadcast live on PEOPLE.com and broadcast live on PEOPLE’s Twitter, YouTube and Facebook Live. Episodes are also available on demand on PeopleTV.com and through the free PeopleTV app. Directed by the executive producer Jenny from Attoma, “PEOPLE Now” celebrated its 1,000th episode on June 18th.
