
MTN Nigeria Communications Plc has partnered with Ultima Studios for the premiere of the internationally acclaimed show “Family Feud” in Nigeria. The telecom giant has invested over N200 million in bringing the family-centric show to screens across Nigeria.
Following the media event on August 24, 2022, where Bisola Aiyeola was announced as the host of the show, MTN Nigeria and Ultima Studios held a major industry event on Monday, October 3, 2022, to mark the premiere of the game ‘Family Feud’. show in Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, Ag. Aisha Umar Mumuni, Chief Digital Officer, MTN Nigeria said, “MTN Nigeria is always looking for opportunities to speak about family values, that is why we have agreed to partner with Ultima Studios, a production company committed to creating wholesome, quality entertainment.
“Putting the necessary financial resources to ensure that everything is up to international variations was very important to us. We are excited to bring this to Nigerian screens and believe they would easily include it in their family activity programming.
While delivering his speech at the event, Ultima Studios General Manager Femi Ayeni pointed out that “Family Feud” is a family-oriented show to bring families together and add color to the lives of Nigerians. He said the show is not segmented into any particular class but crosses different social classes of families. He also expressed his gratitude to MTN for their continued support over the years, from “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” to “Project Fame” and now Family Feud.
Family Feud Nigeria premiered on October 7, 2022 and aired on Africa Magic Family and Africa Magic Urban of Dstv and GoTV from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday and 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
