
StarstruckITV’s Saturday night entertainment format which sees audience members transformed into music icons, will return to ITV and ITVX in 2023.
The series, which sees host Olly Murs and judges Sheridan Smith, Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight and Jason Manford preside over trios of musical acts posing as their favorite stars, has been re-commissioned for a second series.
Launched this year with 4.7 million consolidated viewers, the first series of Starstruck is set to end on Saturday, April 2, as finalists including Freddie Mercury, Barbra Streisand and Billie Eilish compete to be crowned the winner and walk away with some life-changing cash.
Produced by Remarkable Entertainment (a British company from Banijay), contestants get the ultimate “superstar experience”, ditching their usual personas to become global icons, all thanks to an elite team of glam and stylists overseeing a extraordinary transformation on screen.
Starstruck is commissioned by ITV Entertainment Commissioning Manager Katie Rawcliffe and Commissioner David Smyth. Cat Lawson is executive producer for Remarkable Entertainment. the Starstruck the format and finished programs are represented internationally by Banijay.
